Our Story

The Stella Grace Bright Foundation was created from both heartbreak and hope. Founded in loving memory of Stella Grace Bright, a vibrant 16-year-old with a brilliant future, the foundation was born after a tragic car accident took her life far too soon. Stella was artistic, kind, funny, and full of life—an identical twin, a beloved daughter, and a friend to many.

In the wake of this unimaginable loss, we knew we needed to transform our grief into purpose.  We knew that something meaningful had to grow from the pain.  We wanted to honor Stella’s legacy by protecting other families from similar heartbreak.  

 

Our story is one of love turned into action. We recognize that teen drivers often face immense pressure from their peers, which can lead to risky decisions behind the wheel. That’s why one of our core goals is to equip teens with the confidence, tools, and community support they need to make safe choices second nature—every ride, every time. Through prevention, awareness, education, communication, scholarships, and advocacy, we are raising awareness, educating young drivers, advocating for stronger safety measures, and inspiring a culture of responsibility on the road.
